For the Dumaguete Effata Association of the Deaf, Inc. (DEAF, Inc.) is headed in Negros Oriental. It is affiliated as ordinary member of the Philippine Federation of the Deaf.
Furthermore, DEAF, Inc. has registered under the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), also recognized as a member of the City Development Council (CDC) and accredited by the Department of Interior and Local Government (DILG) in Dumaugete.
Chapter Local Organziations
Established in December 17, 2016 with Mr. John Yobie, committee member of DEAF, Inc. 2016 - 2018 and the opening of PWD massage supported by the municipal Mayor. The distance between Dumaguete and Sibulan is 6 kilometers away.
Established in January 21, 2017 by the contribution of Deaf Guihulngan members and Mr. Jazer Patalan a former committee member of DEAF, Inc. (2014 - 2016) who is from Jimalalud but is currently working as a teacher aide in a public school for the Deaf. City of Guihulngan is 91 kilometers away from Dumaguete.
Established in October 14, 2012 for the purpose of coordinating with DEAF, Inc. in activities related to the Deaf Child Sexual Abuse Prevention (DCSAP) Program. Bais City is located 49 kilometers north of Dumaguete City.
